About Me

As a Software Engineer, I draw from my experience in the arts to inform my work. I believe in strong design, clean framework, and an intuitive user experience.

As a daughter of two musicians, I have always appreciated hard work and dedication to your craft. I followed in their footsteps to a career as a professional opera singer. I kept the lights on with bartending, nannying, administrative work - anything I found that I thought would be interesting. I use that experience in Software Development to create a detailed and beautiful product while keeping deadlines. Because if there's anything you learn in restaurants, it's that no one wants to wait on a side of ranch.

Color Me React

Color Blocks

A React App to demonstrate an update of a depricated code base. I used an old tutorial from a Udemy course I bought in 2020. Users can see colors within those palettes as well as alter the shading, copy and paste hex, rgb, and rgba codes for use elsewhere. Users can also create their own palettes. Colors in new palettes can be sorted by drag-and-drop. New palettes will be savedin local storage for use anytime (as long as your cache is persistent.)
